A place to talk about our adventures and ask questions OOC. To get started please start a thread with the title of your characters name, copy/paste the info in Amowien's thread, use the dice roller to start your character and then we will go from there. When done, we should visit the local Tavern, where all good Adventures start!

Ok I have a question, do yall want to do the standard ability score point buy system, or just d20 it?
I would rather just d20 all stats and be done with it.

Question: Ive never done a online board role play before. So are we each doing a thread like you have with brightblade with our stats done ahead of time or are we all working on the stats together?

After I find out from yall what point system you want to go with, we each will have our own thread per character. The sole purpose of that thread will be to document stats, skills, feats, spells, coin, so on and so forth.
Like an online character sheet.

If we do the buy out we start with I think 8 points in all stats and then have 25 to spend how we see fit. ( I need to check on that to be sure, and being that with the new ruleset you gain points as you level, I believe this is the way we need to go.)
If we do a D20 roll, being we are all adults here, just be honest and roll ya up a character. I'm thinking D20 all stats arrange how ya like, reroll any under 9 once.

I would suggest in fairness. That the GM generate the set of six basic stats using the d20 method and give them out to the player to assign as they see fit. That way they can allicate those stats to the relevent class. But whatever you decide works for me.

Ok here is the 3.5 dice rules, I was wrong before ofcourse.
Roll four 6 sided dice, disregard the lowest roll, total the three highest ones. Make this roll 6 times, once you have the 6 scores assign each score to one of the six abilities.
Once you have rolled and picked your race/class and all that jazz, I will then add the modifiers to your sheet, or rather give you the numbers so you can add them yourself.

Good deal Vman, I will get yall the numbers/options/whatever for the parts left blank when everyone has a character sheet, that way I can look at the book once and be done with it. Also I will roll everyones starting gold and starting equipment. I'm sure you will be able to find a merchant to upgrade items and such, the Tavern would be a good place to start out at, the owner may even have a few task for you to do. I hear there is a rat problem
