The variation of the name used there is usually Christian.
Oddly enough I got more teasing for my surname than first name. Perhaps it was because if they tried to make fun of my first name they didn't get the expected response, ie: getting upset. Heck, some of my friends called me Kirsty and I still responded.
I do remember this one guy that did have it in for me in terms of teasing etc; in retrospect it's really funny; named Michael Burke. I was speaking with my parents about this guy and they told me what Burk meant.. lol, and me being me went and told him.. Boy was he upset, lol

I knew a lad at school called Tracy, for which he received an inordinate amount of teasing. He grew up hard (he was also black, in fact I think he was the first black kid at my school) and by the time he was 15 no one who knew him giggled at his name or made racist taunts. Don't get me wrong, he was a great guy (I had been friends with him since about 6 years old) but people knew not to cross him. So are you a hard nut after growing up with a girls name and needing to continually prove you're not a girlie, Theurgist? ;D Incidentally, I can see that being a SA type name. One of the lecturers I work with is called Krisen and he's from SA. I knew a tracy male also except he was kinda faggy looking in high school with all those nasty zits and long hair YACK! I think Krisen said correctly for a man is well sexah! This conversation reminds me of a clients last name at work--it was "Hiscock" yes i kid you not!! and add my stupid petite pretty blond boss walking around the office looking for his file.. "have you seen Hiscock?" ;D

"have you seen Hiscock?" ;D OMG! You have got to put a laugh out loud warning on that.. You'll end up getting people in trouble from them bursting out laughing reading this, when they should in fact be worki... .. ah, bugger..

I think Krisen said correctly for a man is well sexah! .and that's why he's the sexiest male ranter. He even feigns ignorance of his subtle powers - which of course doubles his sexiosity. You do know he looks like a sexier version of Mel Gibson?

Kirstan -is- a sexy name. My my.
"Burk".. In swedish, that means "can (as in canned corn or something, not "able")", but I doubt that's what's funny? What's funny?

What's funny is that a burk....well it's slang for idiot (here in the uk at least). So you would say 'well, he's a bit of a burk'.

Older mel is more seasoned more wiser. The bod is still good and he knows what he is doing. a real man. *danty wipes drool from corner of mouth* Ive been eyeing jude law lately...he has this incredible senuality about him.
