Hi ho,
Hope you're all happy in whichever MMO is rocking your boat right now. I had a lot of fun in Dragon's Prophet for a few months, but my friends bailed and I kind of lost interest. I'm not playing any MMOs right now, but on fighting through some old PC folders I came across something I'd written for a long dead website in 2001 when playing Anarchy Online. I reposted it here:

I'll do a follow up post soon, talking largely about how it is that sandbox a lot of us have been missing - and that Horizons also offered in the early days. The fact the world was big enough that you could set your own goals, your own agendas - and that's what made them meaningful.
