I don't get this Amon if the holes are there and you can escape or not why aren't you fixing the ones you can escape from. This to me sure seems like a bad way to run a game.
Also another question I have is why do you have the test server check to see if you own a plot on live servers. I was told if I want to test on blight I need to buy another key to build a plot there. WTF thats insane dude.

If you are able to recall out of it, then it is not unescapable. So what is the confusion?
If you fall into the DeadPool, there is no way out except recall. People don't complain about that. It is how it is.
Now, if the hole causes you to "jitter" and you cannot recall then yea it will be fixed.

The problem I see is you need to fix the holes period. But if yoiu guys think keeping the holes there is ok I guess we can see this as a small company needing to cut corners.
I noticed you didn't answer my other question.

Hahah... Fix the holes? If by hole, you mean a depression in the ground that the player cannot climb out of... Then explain to me why a game should never have anything like that?
As far as the plots, I have no knowledge of that part of the code so I cannot comment.

I got stuck behind the cauldron while T&Ting recently in Dalimond. It's placed right in a corner where the wall of one corner is a sloping ramp up toward the second floor. Was it annoying? Yup. Did I report it? Newp. Will others get stuck there? I'm sure they will. Should the machine be moved to prevent from people getting stuck? Well, it would save anyone getting stuck there the hassle of recalling and portalling back but I don't see it as a priority really.
Getting repeated portal lag fixed though, THAT should definately be a priority.
This does remind me though of how crappy jumping is in this game. We don't jump very high at all and while that's realistic we also can't CLIMB at all which isn't very realistic. So that would be my only wishlist thing that could be changed in future to facilitate getting out of holes that IRL we would have been able to climb out of; Increase the jumping height.
CoH brought the jumping into focus... After playing it (without jumping powers) then playing HZ and trying to jump I was like, "OMG! Jumping sucks here!" lol

WTF thats insane dude. It's to keep freeloading assholes out of the game. If you want a plot, you get one per account you pay for, on any server, Blight included. The people that regularly play on Blight have to pay for the plots they own, just like everyone else. You want to play, pay up! You want everything a paying customer gets without actually having to pay? Too fucking bad! Pay up or shut up, you whiny little Kato Kaelin-wannabe.

ROFL, a test server is just that to test not to play a main on. To make it anything else is just plan stupid.

Actually the irony is in the people that work at TulgAE.
Now they are bring in a writer to do quests for them. I wonder how much he will get and how are they making money if the pops are so low. This keeps getting better.

Heh... Uh... riiight... cause no company has ever done anything like this before. Hahah...
Actually, this is a good thing for us... What is one of the things people want most? Quests and lore. Now, we'll have a real author that can help us with that. That is a great thing... And would be great for any company.

You don't think this is way to late for how old the game already is and you still have a lot of the same problems from release?
But if you come out and say you have a new engine Nov. 17th then I guess this could make the game better and actually get you more people to sign up. But if you still have the same issues no quests or lore will help the game.

Just because I liked trying to derail these types of threads that turn into 13 page long HZ bashing threads.... It's "inescapable" not "unescapable."

You don't think this is way to late for how old the game already is and you still have a lot of the same problems from release? Nah, it's never too late to hire one of the giants of fantasy literature to spruce up your lore and backstory. Awww, I guess that means they're doing better then you thought financially. BTW, you might want to reconsider using 'old', 'have a lot of problems', and 'release' in one of your attacks. You're leaving yourself open for a world of Viagra jokes at your expense.

LOL, there is no way the company is making a profit. At least nothing acceptable. If they have to use interns for free. With the idea when the company makes money they will get paid for the time they have put in. That was stated not even 3 weeks ago by one of the interns. Quests are good I don't deny that but a working engine would be much better. Like it has been stated so many times by so very many. Stop adding and fix the damn engine.
