I'm game:) It was no dissrespect to all certainly. I was just clearing the air. And by all means i have run too many games without playing in them so i am more than happy with my role and have no disire to take on your role Pally. Its an interesting way to run the game and i have a desire to see its progress and everyone enjoy themselves:) Well thats the point, to have fun ;D Awesome thank you, I want you here because it adds to the story, and gives me something to feed off of. Just bare with me a bit, it will get better.

Bah it seems I always think of more to say after I hit post. I would like to thank you for coming here and posting your concerns instead of stroming off and getting all huffy. That will do nothing but make this more enjoyable for us all.

Im having some thoughts on how to structure the phases or turns so it could be sequential and not haphazard in the way people add in there actions or deeds. If you remember the ol fighting fantasy books each paragraph had a number so you could choose your path. That way if you gave a GM paragraph and titled it no. 1 and everyone who responded put the no.1 so you could easily place what they were refering to. Also if anyone hasnt been around for a few hours and you made a few posts they could number there paragraphs accordingly and slot in his response.
Just a thought use or disregard as you see fit:)

Wow !! We have five active players going in this game!! Thats cool beans for a quick idea by paladin!! You might have hit on something pally! This seems to have some potential if we do it right!! This Might Keep me out of my MMO game. I would somehow like to make sure that everyone has a chance to respond to a GM scene or move. Without slowing the game down. Can we come up with something? Or make the rules clear on this point? Ive really enjoyed reading caths and sher pieces and i know that takes sometime to write up and think about.

Question: in the game by preception check was successful. Do we take this to PM to find out the results or do we create a thread for GM direction?

1) wow is the game over already? Or will we have another evening in the tavern? 2) don't we need to move all ooc stuff to the ooc thread? shouldn't we set that as a rule, to have a parallel universe so that any ooc stuff goes there and doesn't fuck up the game like this ooc stuff has? 3) is it normal to argue with the DM about how s/he chooses to run the game?
I know nothing. But I do have a character who is waiting to come onstage : )

1) 3) is it normal to argue with the DM about how s/he chooses to run the game? I know nothing. But I do have a character who is waiting to come onstage : ) From my experiance YES the game always has growing pains in the beginning. We have 5 (6) new people with motives that are unclear to EVERYONE including the GM/DM. The tavern is a great way to "work out" (dont think that arguing applys) the group dynamics before we head into the adventure. hehe i think its 7 ppl playing

I'm not going to move this along too terrible fast, my skill level is not on par with a few others here so any ideas are welcome. I was just going to let it flow like it has been, and not move on with any major story plots untill everyone has had the chance to get their feet wet.

Question: in the game by preception check was successful. Do we take this to PM to find out the results or do we create a thread for GM direction? Your check was to get close and listen to Rothgar's and Borias' conversation. You were successful, so this means that you know what they know. I don't really want to take it to private, in doing that I think it may complicate the story for others. So just listen to the two converse, and gain a better insight than the others might have, then use it to open up more dialog options and a chance to further your part in this tale.
